UV Bonded Glass

Using no more than just UV light to activate the special adhesive, we can quickly and easily create a strong and long-lasting bond between two separate pieces of glass – a bond that is much stronger than the glass itself – without impacting on the quality of the glass or the level of clarity that it has. The transparent joints that are created as a result of the UV bonding process allow for maximum light to pass through, ensuring that anything being displayed inside, for example, is shown to their best potential. This markedly different from the black joints that are created as a result of structural silicone bonding.

It is not only glass to glass that can be bonded together, but we are also able to bond glass to metal, allowing for a significantly wider range of different products items to be manufactured.

UV bonded glass can be used for a wide variety of different commercial applications, such as for counters at supermarkets deli sections, partitions in restaurants to protect exposed food from customers, and display cabinets in retail shops holding things likely shoes, jewellery, and other high value items. With the ability to bond metal to glass, it allows for things like hinged glass doors with locks to be manufactured and can be used in a wide variety of different applications.
